Hi neighbors,

My name is Justin Leitgeb, and I’m running for Pittsford Village Trustee on a ticket with Peggy C. Brizee under the Village Vision party.

As you know, Peggy has made tremendous contributions to our village through her role as trustee. I look forward to joining her in bringing my experience as an entrepreneur to the service of our unique village.

Your vision as community citizens is the foundation for sustainable, thoughtful growth in the village. Peggy and I will work with you to ensure that your vision is realized in a way that benefits our community. Good governance matters in bringing about this vision. As a trustee, Peggy has been working tirelessly as the liaison to the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee as well as the Architectural and Historic Preservation Review Board (APRB) to improve these crucial pieces of village government. We should vote to re-elect her this March to ensure that she can continue this important work.

I am honored to have been asked by Peggy to join her in this election. I live with my wife Lori and our two children, Natalie and Ian, both of whom attend Jeff Road Elementary. Before returning home to the Rochester area we lived in New York City and Quito, Ecuador. Over the last decade Lori and I established a successful multinational software company that has its largest office in Quito. We now manage our business from our home in Pittsford Village. I intend to bring my experience in owning and operating a business to our board of trustees in order to ensure that it supports efficient growth that is consistent with our vision.

This is an extremely important election for our village. The way our village changes in the years to come will depend on your engagement with the issues and how you vote in March. Through civil discussion and engagement with our neighbors on the issues that matter, together we can ensure that our community grows and prospers. Contact us to talk about your vision and the issues that matter to you.

Sincerely,

Justin Leitgeb
